The “Raided House EP” by Kinky Movement includes three slammin’ tracks, with “Free party” being a cool funk soaked affair spiced with a pinch of Disco and lots of soul, with the result being an uplifting funky house stomper. Fabio Bacchini’s remix intensifies the Disco flavors and injects extra power to guarantee it causes a stir on the dance floor. I just download this release from juno, listen to it again & have some words to say about it.
It was 2002 when I listen to Deodato’s “Latin Flute” first time. He became my favorite musician who brings me into fusion and latin jazz music. I think this track was played more than 1000 times. I tryed to resample it but I have a big problem what part of the track I should take to make my own remix, because I like them all! =)
But Kinky Movement did it! They did incredible groove from Deodato’s rhodes & guitar part over heavy bassline. That’s how club house music should looks like for me.
The second track from EP is for prime time of the party. Beautiful solo on keys. 303 acid sounds are very fresh. Next track, Fabio goes into french sound with funky sidechains! It’s for big dancefloors. I realy dig into french house (c) =) And the last one has a lil’ bit electrofunk sound from 80’s))) Unbelieveble. All the tracks are playeble from EP. It shows that I’m on one (sound)wave with Kinky Movement & Fabio’s mindtravel.
